“What stands out is the superb location next to Gravensteen Castle, making it ideal for exploring Ghent's central attractions. While some rooms have drawbacks-like noise or small towels-the historic building's charm and pet-friendly policy are definite advantages. I think the hotel balances its historical setting with modern amenities, though breakfast might be better enjoyed elsewhere.”

adequate stay with some issues

central locationsmall roomdirty bathroom floor
the location was central, convenient to many restaurants.
The room i had was quite small and felt stuffy. A bigger space would have been more welcome. the bathroom floor was not clean, i found hairs on it which was off-putting. there were no drinks in the minibar either, not even water. That was disappointing.
